2012 is coming to a close & 2013 is right around the corner. End 2012 right with a kick butt workout & ring in 2013 with a run/hike/walk & 4 x 10 burpee’s. 40 burpee’s will get that heart pumpin’, your energy flowing & your outlook for the new year started on the right foot.
If you have been training with me or know me well enough you know that I don’t like new years resolutions simply because they do not work. Growing up each year I set my hopes high to stop biting my finger nails…And guess what?? YEP I still do! Now I have to say I am not as bad as when I was younger (and by younger I mean even into college I was pretty bad) but my nails are not my greatest feature!
When people say to me “I will start Tuesday” those are words for FAILURE. I cringe & try to explain why they should start NOW – TODAY – and NOT wait for Tuesday. As they “wait” they let their habits get out of control & when Tuesday comes around the body will fight harder against eating clean & moving. It will feel like a BIG SLUG for eating 5000 calories of crap & not moving a bit. Why put yourself through that???!!
So I challenge you to start TODAY by cleaning up your eating & getting in an awesome workout that will fuel your energy for 2013. It is going to be an amazing year & you don’t want to get left behind by waiting to start…
