A Quick Metabolism Booster!

I CHALLENGE you to wake up 20 minutes earlier and boost your metabolism with this quick circuit.  It doesn’t take much!!!

Warm-up 5 min (jog in place, jump rope, toe taps, butt kicks etc)
Supermans 2 x 15

Burpee w/ Push-up / Knee / Knee (knee to same armpit) x 10
Plank with Hip Drops x 20
Mtn Climbers x 20 (WIDE – plant foot to side of hand)
Pike Push-up x 10
Jump Lunges x 20
Seated Oblique Twists x 20 (feet up)
Tricep Push-ups x 10

Repeat 2-3 times
DOWN DOG = DONE

Holiday Circuit!!!

 

Charly 12-14 Months 067It’s that time of year to RAMP UP your fitness!!!  Do NOT wait until January 2nd to begin…  Holiday party’s, craziness, busy busy schedules can leave you feeling plump, heavy & bloated sooooooo here is a circuit that you can do anywhere!!!

Warm-up 10 minutes (power walk, jog, jump rope, air squats, elliptical, row etc…)
Pelvic Bridge Marches x 20
DOWN DOG

Squat Jumps x 20 (touch PALMS of hands to ground)
Push-ups x 10
Seated Oblique Twists x 20 (use a db or something weighted if possible)
Burpee’s w/ Tricep Push-up & Jump Tuck x 10
Tic Toc Lunges x 10 each leg
Plank w/ Side Foot Taps x 20

(repeat 2-3 times w/ a 1 minute rest after each round)

Down Dog
DONE!!!

Jog / Elip / Power Walk / Row 10 minutes
Supermans 2 x 15
DOWN DOG

Burpee’s w/ Push-up x 15
Ball “V” ups x 20 (shins on ball – hands on ground – “V” butt into air)

Run / Stair Step or Row x 3 minutes

Jump Lunges tapping Stability Ball to ground (over front knee) x 20
Pike Push-ups / Jump Tuck (= 1 rep) x 15

Run / Stair Step or Row x 3 minutes

Forearms / Forearms / Hands / Hands x 20
Plie Jump Squats x 20

Run / Stair Step or Row x 3 minutes

Tricep Chair Dips x 20
Ball Taps w/ feet in air x 30

Run / Stair Step or Row x 3 minutes

DOWN DOG
DONE!!!
